ENANTIOMORFI (1993-2001)
In scientific language, two entities – geometric shapes, crystallographic structures, etc. – are defined as “enantiomorphs”. – inversely equal, i.e. symmetrical with respect to a plane outside them, so that one can be considered a mirror image of the other. In Nuvolo’s case, the Enantiomorfi identify themselves as yet another experiment and proof akin to the question that accompanies all his pictorial work: how much chaos is there in order and how much order is there in chaos?
