VIDEOGRAMMI (1976)

From the examination of that phantasmagorical and fabulistic world of Oigroig‘s video footage, shapes emerge that evoke monsters, lepidoptera, faces, demons which, extrapolated and enlarged, can generate new figurations. The black and white silkscreens represent a temporal space, a “withheld moment” and are produced by photographing the monitor, whose aberrations caused by the curved shape of the screen are retained. They are exhibited for the first time in the solo exhibition “Nuvolo. Presentazione ciclica delle opere”  at Studio Piattelli in Rome.
