DIAGRAMMI (1958-1972)

Vigorelli’s use of Cuciti a macchina is declined in Diagrammi in a free syntax. The blackness of the thread on the neutral surface of the canvas, reminiscent of the stroke of a pen, enacts an intimate “domestic writing”. The stripes generate a zig-zag linear composition in space, evoking the trace of a drawing.
