DAINI (1959-1962)

The pictorial cycle corresponds to a variation on the theme of Cuciti a macchina. The distinguishing feature is the use of materials: whereas the works created since 1958 consist of a heterogeneous sampler of fabrics, in this case the patchwork is realised with the exclusive use of deerskin, painted or left in its original tones.
