GENESI (1990-1994)

If in the 1960s Nuvolo experimented with screen-printing technique for the reproduction of totemic works symmetrical with respect to the vertical axis, in the 1990s, with Genesi, he showed his unique ability to master the screen-printing frame. The complexity of stripes and interlacements running the length of these works (created with a single stroke) are “generated” from the vertical, horizontal, bilateral symmetry of an initial “totem”.
