NUOVI DIAGRAMMI (1987-1989)

This new version of the stitched Diagrammi are large-scale works in silkscreen printing. In the works of the 1960s, the declared lack of function of the thread on the canvas accentuated the dreamy arbitrariness of the paths and emphasised, far beyond the grace of the very thin “stripes”, the thought in freedom, so in the Nuovi Diagrammi the colour, substituting itself for the thread, actually mimics the path and the absolute lack of function, exercising equal freedom and visionary wandering.
