ALFA 39 (1988)
In the same period of time as the Nuovi Diagrammi, Nuvolo ventures into the unprecedented exercise of using the sign code Alfa 39, commonly used in the commodity classified; but when “read” there is no reference to commercial products. With the Alfa 39, he renews the act of faith in his own era, with whose technological spirit he identifies himself, taking on the effective signs for communication and subjecting them to the detournement of art’s intentions. The first group of plates (from 7) composes a sentence dedicated to Emilio Villa, the second (from 3) is a message for Bruno Corà.
